We started Pogo Records a little over a year ago, mostly as a half-joking thing to support our friends’ bands, help set up and run local basement shows, and have fun in the process. In the end, that’s what it still is, and that’s what it will continue to be about.

However, as of recent (as you may have noticed), we have been trying to amp things up. While our primary focus is still on the things listed above, we believe we can operate to a better extent with a new spin of originality. Pogo Records was founded on a joke, based on the “Anarchist Pogo Party of Germany”. We’ll still continue to make references to Pogo on occasion; we’re simply switching our primary image to a more original style based slightly less on the half-joking founding idea of the label. Things will still be fun, we’re just getting more serious with our efforts, and would like to reflect that.

As stated earlier, we’ll continue to make occasional references to Pogo (especially artistically), and will indefinitely continue to sell our Pogo Records buttons for a while.

To everyone reading, thank you for your support throughout this new era of our label. No matter how big or small we become, we’ll stay dedicated for as long as we can, for you.
